AstroGuide connects to a Pakistan Science Club GoTo mount over Wi-Fi and turns your phone into its hand controller.
What it does
- Setup wizard: guides you through levelling and aligning the mount, including an on-screen level for the pole-alignment step.
- Star alignment: one- and two-star alignment so GoTo lands on target.
- GoTo and control: slew to planets, the Moon, bright stars and deep-sky objects; manual movement; return home.
- Sky map: the sky above you with constellations, planets and deep-sky objects - tap an object to send the telescope there.
- AR sky mode: hold up your phone and see what you are pointing at, with arrows to off-screen targets.
- Recovery: a step-by-step reset if the mount gets confused.
Status
AstroGuide is in field testing on the physical mount. It will be released once alignment and GoTo accuracy are confirmed under the sky. Leave your number or email below and we will tell you when it is ready.
